Movement Foundation
In 2020, a year that has brought great and complex challenges to the world, Jose Vidal begins to materialise a dream: to create a foundation that promotes movement as an engine of social transformation.
The synergy of the collective, the collaborative dynamics, the continuous and mutual learning of technical, theoretical and artistic knowledge has been Vidal's way of working for more than 15 years. His need to share with more people the richness and power of this methodology is the impetus for this leap; seeking to permeate all areas that make up the person and society, contributing to the construction of a more humane, conscious, ecological and sustainable world.
MISION
Through our bodies in movement, we promote instances of encounter, creation, communication and celebration, that propitiate from collective intelligence the fall of ideological and cultural barriers.
We seek to open and promote experiences where we co-inhabit from hospitality and the common good, the intimate connection with our physical, emotional, spiritual and community life; allowing us to activate the flexibility, creativity and adaptability of our personal and collective histories, weaving from and together with movement, spaces of social transformation.
MOVEMENT IS ENERGY, TRANSFORMATION, RESURGENCE AND CHANGE.
VISION
- Promote meaningful, profound and transformative dialogues through the body in movement.
- To build unique and unrepeatable experiences, with emotional and cultural exchanges.
- Through our areas of work, we seek to generate creative ecosystems and meetings of ideas based on the vision of the body, movement and social space.
- Transferring bodies in movement to non-conventional public space as an instance of massive, inclusive and democratic celebration. We believe that dance is a common language tool that unifies and brings human beings closer to a healthy coexistence with their environment.
